November 18, 2008 marks the ninth anniversary of the establishment of Cincinnati’s only African American owned beauty school. The one training center that has had a direct impact on the lives, jobs, incomes, personal appearances, entrepreneurship and overall standard of living of families in our communities. We train people who can EARN a respectable income even when times are economically bad, such as they are today. Behind churches and funeral homes, beauty and barber shop owners represent essential and primary businesses in any community. They are the one group where money turns over at least once and possibly two to three times. Salon and Shop owners hire local labor to help with plumbing, carpentry, electrical work, and even today computers, printing, painting and security alarms. They hire cleaning crews and window washers. Salons and shops provide a place to distribute of tickets for events planned by young entrepreneurs, members of the entertainment industry and even non-profit organizations seeking to increase participation from local neighborhoods. Progressive beauty school training is complementary to the newly merging practices in nutrition, stress relief, and hair loss. In these new emerging more scientific based relationships, Moore Universite of Hair Design is focusing on recruiting applicants who understand these trends and would like work in them as a career choices. span.jajahWrapper { font-size:1em; color:#B11196; text-decoration:underline; } a.jajahLink { color:#000000; text-decoration:none; } span.jajahInLink:hover { background-color:#B11196; }span.jajahWrapper { font-size:1em; color:#B11196; text-decoration:underline; } a.jajahLink { color:#000000; text-decoration:none; } span.jajahInLink:hover { background-color:#B11196; } |
